Cambridge 2008

September 2008 saw the SGT pack up the office and head to Cambridge for our annual conference. Not only was it a great venue but it was also a very good conference with the New Researchers Forum producing some outstanding papers. This made it difficult for the judges to decided on the Paul award winner. In the end the £250 went to Robert Moss. The conference also gave the Society the chance to present prizes to Students who had won the Oldfield Award and gave established members of the Glass Industry the chance to listen and discuss your ideas.
